River Oak Arabian stud is situated at Wilberforce just 6 km 's from the historic Hawkesbury township of Windsor, NSW Australia. (1 hour 15 mins. drive from Sydney International Airport).

Our breeding programme is based on over 40 years of breeding Arabian horses and we feel very fortunate to have had our beginnings with this wonderful breed through Ron and Val Males of Ralvon Arab Stud. We had a solid grounding with Ralvon during the late 60's and 70's and will always be grateful to Ron and Val for the vast pool of knowledge they shared with us.

Coupled with knowledge gained through those years and the fact that we both had a riding background, we are very aware that the Arabian should be soundly conformed and, in fact, should be first and foremost a saddle horse. We are both proud owners of the 100 Mile Tom Quilty Gold Cup Ride buckles (Ray has 3 and Kerry 1).

The Stud still today boasts a line up of some of Australia’s most well known and successful show and endurance horses.

Arjai Summitt, multi Supreme Champion at the highest level in Australia and “Australia’s Moving Machine”.  River Oak Imprint and Kyremi Illustraa are both Australian and East Coast Champions and three time winners of Supreme at Sydney Royal.    The highly decorated black stallion River Oak Tabu, is sire of Australian Icon River Oak Malibu, who lit the cauldron at the 2006 DOHA Asian Games Opening Ceremony.  These sires have sired Australian Champions.

The next generation of River Oak sees the impressive son of River Oak Imprint – River Oak Silver Edition, take the lead.  Silver Edition’s dam is the Australian Reserve Champion mare River Oak Illusive Girl.  He was the acclaimed ‘talk of the town’ when he made his debut at the 2010 East Coast  Championships.  Joining him is his full brother River Oak Platinum, already a multi-Supreme Show horse.
